Dr. Basiru Oyeniran FATAI specializes in Trade and Development Economics. He obtained his first degree in Educational Management/Economics, M.sc and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2008, 2012 and 2018 respectively. He is a Network Member of African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), Nairobi, Kenya. He has worked as: Research Fellow, Trade Policy Research and Training Programme, Department of Economics, University of Ibadan, Nigeria; Visiting Assistant Professor, American University of Nigeria, Yola, Nigeria; Visiting Faculty, International Institute for Petroleum, Energy Law & Policy (IIPELP) and the Emerald Energy Institute for Petroleum & Energy Economics, Policy and Strategic Studies (EEI), University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, collaborative MSc Programme in Abuja; Associate Lecturer, Department of Economics, Fountain University Osogbo, Nigeria; Academic Advisor, Distance Learning Centre, Department of Economics, University of Ibadan.
