The Executives of the Organisation for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), Ibadan Branch, paid a courtesy visit today, Thursday, 24 September 2026, to the Director-General of NISER, Prof. Anthonia Taiye Simbine, to express their appreciation for her continued support and encouragement of the organisation.
The visit provided an opportunity to acknowledge her past contributions to the growth and progress of OWSD and to seek her continued support for the organisation’s activities and initiatives.
During the visit, the team also shared information about the upcoming OWSD webinar which will be presented by one of NISER’s researchers, Mrs. Ngozi Iyoho, on “Social Exclusion of Women with Disabilities: Implications for Policy Options.”
