On August 17, 2023, the Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, University of Ibadan, in conjunction with the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research, hosted a Symposium on Economic Opportunity Pathways to Navigating Post-Reform Challenges in Nigeria. The event was held at Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan.
The lead speaker at the event was Shubham Chaudhri, Country Director at the World Bank Nigeria Office. Discussants were Prof. O. Olaniyan, Prof. Adetola I. Adeoti, and Mr Louis Chete (Ag. Head, Economic and Business Policy Department, NISER).
Nigerian Institute Of Social And Economic Research is a public research institute located in Ibadan. The center is one of the foremost publicly funded think tanks in the country.
