Jacob Sesugh Angahar

Mr. Jacob Sesugh Angahar is an Economist who specializes in Monetary Economics and policy with bias in Quantitative and Financial economics. He obtained his B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Economics from Kwararafa University Wukari, Taraba State, Nigeria and Benue State University Makurdi, Nigeria in 2011 and 2017 respectively. He is pursuing Ph.D Economics at Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa Nigeria. He is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered (NIM). He also holds a certificate of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and has trained so many for improved capacity. He has worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Economics Kwararafa University Wukari, where he held so many positions, amongst which include Departmental Examination Coordinator, Examination Coordinator College of Management and Social Science and Coordinator General Studies Unit (GST). He has been appointed member of several University Committees amongst which include Senate Budget Committee, Accreditation Technical Committee, University 10 year’s strategic plan and Member Secretariat, Governing Council, Kwararafa University Wukari. He is a reviewer for both local and international journals. Some of the awards he received include “Most Hard Working Lecturer 2016” and “Best GST Lecturer 2018”. He taught and supervised undergraduate students in the Department of Economics Kwararafa University Wukari. He is presently a Junior Research Fellow in Economics and Business Policy Department (EBPD). He has edited books and has list of both local and international publications to his name.
