NISER researchers have worked in practically every state and local government in the country, making the Institute’s research reach to be fully nation-wide. The Institute’s liaison and zonal offices have proved to be a ready means of promoting local collaboration, access to local information systems and links with governments and communities.

The international dimension of NISER’s research involves comparative studies on Africa’s social and economic transformation; frameworks for economic growth and competitiveness; and the analysis of development policies aimed at improving Africa’s participation in global economy.
